Delivery and shipping

How you receive your completed translation depends on the type of service you choose. Standard and specialist translations, as well as electronic certified translations, are delivered by email. For paper certified translations, you will also receive a physical copy.

Delivery methods at a glance

  • Standard translations – original file format or Word file.
  • Electronic certified translations – electronically signed PDF.
  • Paper certified translations – PDF scan + courier delivery.

Standard and specialist translations

Completed standard and specialist translations are delivered electronically. For editable documents, we normally preserve the original file format. Translations of scanned documents and non-editable PDFs are usually delivered as Microsoft Word (.docx) files.

If you have specific formatting requirements, please let us know when requesting a quote.

Electronic certified translations

Electronic certified translations are delivered as PDF files.

The document is signed by the certified translator using a qualified electronic signature and sent to the email address provided.

Whether you need an electronic or paper version depends on the requirements of the institution where the translation will be submitted.

Paper certified translations

Once your translation is complete, we'll email you a scanned copy in PDF format, so you can view it without waiting for delivery.

We'll then dispatch the paper copy within 24 hours of completing the translation, either by InPost parcel locker or courier.

Please allow additional time for delivery on top of the translation turnaround time.
